About Rust Player Count
Rust Player Count queries the public Rust server list every five minutes and shows each server's current count.
The in-game server browser makes it hard to judge which servers are actually busy, so Rust Player Count does the counting for you. It pulls the public Rust server list with names, player counts, queues and server tags, then queries servers directly for map seed, FPS and entity count. Servers that do not answer direct queries show only what the list publishes. From those sources the site keeps current counts, wipe dates, rankings and history for every public server, so you can find a freshly wiped map, a busy server in your region or the right group limit before you load in.
Rankings use players over the past week, hour by hour. A server that stays busy every evening sits above one that fills for a single night after a wipe. Lists are ordered by player count, never by payment. Rust Player Count is independent and run by Rust players. It is not affiliated with Facepunch Studios, and nothing here is endorsed by them. Server names, descriptions and images belong to the people who run those servers.
Every figure comes from what servers publish about themselves and refreshes about every five minutes. If something about your server looks wrong, the fix is usually in the server's own settings, and updates appear within roughly five minutes.
