Privacy policy
Rust Player Count holds no account for you and runs no trackers of its own. This page sets out exactly what data is involved.
Information we hold
We do not run user accounts. You are never asked for a name or email address, and there is nothing on the site that collects personal details from you as a visitor. The web server that delivers pages writes standard access logs: your IP address, the page requested and your browser's user agent. Those logs exist to keep the site online and are kept for a short period before being discarded.
Local storage
Your light or dark theme preference is saved in your own browser using local storage. It stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
Cloudflare
Traffic to rustplayercount.xyz passes through Cloudflare, which provides delivery and protection. Cloudflare handles your IP address as part of that service and may place a cookie of its own to check whether a request comes from a bot. That cookie is Cloudflare's, not ours.
Fonts
Fonts load from this site. The exception is the Rust force wipe page, which loads country flag files from jsDelivr, a public host for fonts and code. When your browser requests those files, jsDelivr sees your IP address and browser details. We use no Google services anywhere on the site.
Cookies and analytics
The site places no cookies of its own, includes no analytics script and carries no advertising trackers. No visitor profile is built, and none of your data is sold or shared, because there is nothing of that kind to sell.
Server data
The server information here is drawn from what Rust servers themselves publish to the public server list and answer in direct queries: names, player numbers, settings, descriptions and images. None of it concerns individual players. The counts are totals, not records of who is online.

Questions
3 answeredDoes Rust Player Count use cookies?
We set no cookies of our own, and there are no analytics or advertising cookies. Cloudflare may set one security cookie of its own when it checks for bots, and that cookie belongs to Cloudflare. Your theme preference is kept in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie.
What data does Rust Player Count collect about me?
Nothing beyond standard web server access logs, which record your IP address, the pages you request and your browser type. Those logs are kept briefly to keep the site running. We hold no account details about you and no profile of your browsing.
Is server data on this site about individual players?
No. The server details shown here come from the public server list and from direct queries to those servers: names, player counts, settings, descriptions and images. Player counts are totals only and do not identify anyone.
